Registering Programs

Linxter hides the complexities of enabling applications to communicate by making a variety of connectivity settings available to you through the Linxter Web Manager. You will want to customize these settings based on how you want your programs to interact with other programs.

Configure your settings with the Program Registration Wizard

When registering a program to the Linxter ISB, a wizard takes you through each available setting. You must customize settings which do not provide any default values before you can complete the registration wizard. Note: Settings that do not provide default values are “Name” and “Activities”.

No coding necessary!

After you have completed the program registration wizard, instances of your program pull these settings from the Linxter ISB when they are initialized. This allows you to manage all of your Linxter API settings through your account, instead of through a command line tool or an IDE.

Reconfigure your settings with the Linxter Web Manager

You can always go back to your program registration settings from your Linxter Web Manager account, and edit as needed. Updates are sent to all instances of your program, even if they have already been initialized.
